Yet another weekend draws to a close, although I'm happy to report it was a fairly productive one for me. I started putting this guy together Friday after spending entirely too much money on spraypaint at HobbyTown. I've succeeded so far in assembling both feet and about one-third of the legs. watch for pictures in the near future.
Saturday was a day of car work (mostly) and lounging (not so much). Erik came over and we did brakes (pads, rotors, fluid change), an oil change, and some touch-up painting on his E36 318is. Oh, and how could I forget the coding I've done on my blog? I ripped out and completely redesigned the object model from the ground up in order to cleanly add support for user comments. You can see a visualization of it here in Class Designer.
Not much to report today, Sunday... well, much exciting at least. I did the usual weekly cleaning, grocery shopping, and the like. I also picked up some sheet metal at Home Depot in order to patch some holes in the Z, so hopefully I'll get myself motivated to work on it again soon (I think it would be done by now if it weren't for my habit of getting distracted by other shiny objects).
I leave all of you car-savvy readers with a bit of humor, enjoy:
